Morning Glory... Not!

Don't you ever feel the same as you wake up and you go to the bathroom and all you want is just to go back to the bed. Yeah, yeah you know that feeling.. Today is one of those days. I have got sh*t loads of things to do but all I want to do is to sleep.

I am already in front of my laptop which clearly shows that I just couldn't do what I was dreaming of. But here you listen to my song of today.

"It is not that I am lazy.. I think I am just crazy.. I don't wanna work today.. Ohoo.. La lalalaaa"

I am already working though, damn!

Some More Drawings

I went to this drawing class on Wednesday again and despite the last time the the instructor told me that i am actually not too bad anymore. That sounded quite positive to me. :) You can see my two drawings from the last class. I didn't work on my shadowing at all since I drew them in 20 something minutes.

The great thing is, I am still enjoying it a lot! Let's see how I am going to get on in the following weeks..

Hayat Matematik

Cocukken zaman zaman sorardim, napacagim ben bunca denklemi okul bittiginde diye.. Babam derdi ki, hayat matematik aslinda Burcu, nereye baksan onunde cozulmeyi bekleyen bir problem, denklestirilmeyi bekleyen bir denklem goreceksin. Taa ki gercekten bakmayi ogrendiginde.

Onceleri hayatimizdaki matematik o kadar korkutucu degildi. Bakkala gittim, sakiz aldim, ben para verdim, o bana sakiz ve para ustu verdi. Denklem esitlendi

Cok Para = Sakiz + Az para

Fizikten iyi not aldim, biyoloji biraz kotu gecti. Ama yil sonu ortalamam o kadar da dusmez cunku matematikten bekledigimden daha iyi not aldim.

Iyi Fizik Notu + Kotu Biyoloji Notu + Super Matematik Notu = Beklenilen Yil Sonu Ortalamasi

Her sey matematige biraz daha benzerken kolaydi fakat asil zorluk, matematik denklemlerinin fazla bilinmeyenli denklemleriydi ki bu gunlerde karsimda cok goruyorum. Ve bu bilinmeyenlerin, para, sakiz, not gibi somut olgular degil de, duygular, hisler, beklentiler gibi soyut varliklara kaymasiyla da hayat cok karisik denklemlere donusmus oldu.

Benim yontemim, hayati matematik gibi algilamaya devam etmek. O zaman aslinda hosa pek gitmeyecek konular, eglenceli denklemler gibi algilanabiliyor. Her sey bir dengeye ulasmaya calisiyor. Arada, ihtimaller goz onunde bulundurularak, denklemi riske atmamak adina, yedekler tutuluyor. Baktin risk ortadan kalkiyor, yedege minik bir baybay deniliyor. Hooop, denklem esitleniyor.

Para sakiz denklemi gibi, herkesin es degerde memnun oldugu denklemler cok eskilerde kaldi belki ama yine de zor da olsa umarim hepimiz dengede denklemler kurabiliriz.

The Artist

Hey Everyone,

I have seen this movie called "The Artist" tonight. The only thing I can say that, this movie was absolutely brilliant. Very deep, very clever..

The story has started in 1927 and was about the transition in cinema from silent movie to talking pictures. The silent movie star George Valentin struggles in this transition and the movie was mostly about the transition in his life. That was a very interesting movie since the movie's itself was very cleverly made in silence too. 

The leading actress, Berenico Bejo, was absolutely gorgeous. But I want to talk about the leading actor, Jean Dujardin. He was very professional and a great actor. On top of everything he had the sexiest smile ever  :)

I need to mention the little smart cookie dog that he had because that is my favorite breed of dog, Jack Russell (click to see). I will get a similar dog anytime soon! Ok, let me not change the topic :)

This is a 'must see' movie and I believe it will collect all the awards this year.

My New Hobby - Drawing

I have started taking drawing classes. Well, so far I have attended only one class and only 'constructive' feedback I got from the teacher was, my drawings were showing the model as a beast. Luckily I am hardly discouraged by these things and I accepted the challenge. Practising makes it better, said a very wise man. :) And I listened to him. Here you can see my auto portrait below.

Post NYE Syndromes

Hey,
Like the most of you did, I partied till late on the 31st too. But that is not our topic now. I am tired of hearing or saying the drinking stories these days since we had way too many, thanks to the season.
The funny thing here is, on the 1st, I was feeling fresh as a daisy as I ve never drunk anything in my entire life. I took it as a blessing and didn't question. Although today on the 2nd, I feel like my head is as big as a zeppelin and I've got a terrible sore throat.
I do have this nasty sore throat so often lately, I even wrote a little nasty poem about it.
Now I am going back to drink my weirdsmellybutveryhealthy tea and will speak to you later!
